Q: How much concentrate do I need to make a 5 gallon batch?
A: this would vary based on the gravity of the wine your looking to the product. In concentrate form, about 10-11 liters with sugar added to 5 gallons of water would make an 11-12% finished wine
Q: Can you just mix some of this concentrate with water to make a wine flavored drink?
A: This would be a grape juice concentrate so it will have the flavor of the grape juice, but would not be a finished wine or provide a finished wine flavor into the beverage unless fermented into a wine first
Q: I was wondering if I had to referment when I add this red grape concentrate I have made some wine that I made way too strong in alcohol and needing to dilute it, going to split 7 gallons adding 2 packs of this (I've already added one in the past will add 2 this time)test the acid and go from there if I don't have to go through fermentation again? Thanks, Darlene
A: If the wine has been chemically stabilized, this product can be added to increase body and sweetness with out risk or refermentation. If added to a wine that has not be stabilized, the products sugar content does run the risk of starting fermentation again
Q: Will I be able to keep buying this product from you? I need to drink at least 4 8oz glasses a day. Thanks!
A: We don't have plans to discontinue this product, so barring any out of stocks at the vendor level, we should continue to have it available.
