Q: Good morning, would this capper work for a 29MM bottle? Or do I need to purchase additional parts? Thanks for your help! Kerry (475) 441-7338
A: this capper is designed for use with 26.5mm caps. A bell housing can be purchased to use for 29mm caps on item ID 24-17550
Q: I live in Tanzania and i need to buy these machines. How do i go about acquiring them?. Thanks
A: We do ship internationally. you can add the items to your cart, and while checking out, change the shipping information over to your address and postal code, and the system will show the quoted international shipping rates.
Q: I am not having much luck capping Miller Fortune bottles with a "Royal Crown" capper. Some are breaking off just under the lip and on others the seal is loose and carbonation is not happening. The "Royal" Crown capper from Midwest Supplies is supposed to be an improved, beefier version of a Black Beauty (I think) I like the Fortune bottles and also the Bud Black Crown bottles. Is a bench capper actually a better capper than a hand held capper? If so why?
I have emailed MW Supplies also but have not heard from them. I like to get more than one opinion.
A: A bench capper is a major upgrade from a hand held capper. It provides more leverage when capping bottles, so it is easier to crimp the caps on. If you are having trouble with the current capper you are using, this might be a good solution for you.
Q: I see what you mean about more leverage, but I am breaking bottles at the lip. Will a bench caper eliminate this problem?
A: The bench capper does not grip the side of the bottle during capping so it will limit breakage due to the pressure points put onto the bottle by some hand cappers. the crimping cup used to put the caps in place would be the same.
Q: Does this hold 29mm bell you have?
A: The 29mm bell has been discontinued, but it would have been compatible with our Red Rocket Capper (our version of the Emily Capper).
Q: Will it work with the European size caps? Does it come with both bells?
A: It only comes with the standard bell housing.
Q: I was given a bunch of twist off type bottles, will either the Agata or the Super Agata also cap those or is there anything special I need to cap twisties?
A: Twist cap bottles are typically used in commercial settings only, you will need to have specialized machinery to use those bottles. Homebrew cappers don't work with twist caps unfortunately.
Q: What is the difference between the super agata and the regular agata other than $10?
A: The super agata capper has the ability to adjust to different height bottles on the fly. The standard model stays locked in place for a particular size bottle, and then needs to be manually adjusted. Thanks!
Q: Is this capper for wine o beer ?
A: This capper is meant for capping standard crown cap beer bottles.
Q: Can this capper also be used for corking?
A: No, it is only designed for attaching bottle caps.
Q: What is the shipping weight?
A: The Shipping Weight on this capper is 5 LBS. Cheers!
