Taprite Dual Body Regulator
This Dual Body Regulator is perfect for those who want to keep different pressure on different beer styles. It is also used for serving and carbonating off the same CO2 tank. These are one of the most consistently accurate/ well built regulators on the market! They stay on pressure even when your CO2 tank level goes down. UL listed. Approved for use by all major breweries. Shutoff Valve is ball type check valve that prevents product back-up into regulator. Solid brass body with extra long nipple. Regulator has "Shut down" safety system (blow off at 55 to 60 PSI.) Permanent Quad-Ring Seal on inlet nipple helps eliminate a source of leaks... no need to use a new fiber washer each time tank is changed. Heavy duty!
Two Line Shut Off w/ 3/8" Barbs (perfect for 5/16" Gas Line)
Two Dials to Set Multiple Pressures
Made in the USA
We highly recommend protecting your regulator gauge with the gauge guard and boot kit, Please see option below.
Perfect
Finally a dual gauge and regulator for 2 separate CO2 lines that actually works. I have a two tap kegerator that came with a single gage and one line that T'd into two lines and it was terrible. I always have two very different beers in my kegerator that require two distinctly differently pressures, now my setup is complete.

Co2 reg
Regulator works great, it lets me carbonate a batch in one keg without having to disconnect my other kegs from my keeper taps.

Bad Regulator
I have been using the Taprite Dual Body Regulator for three months. One of my regulators stopped working properly. It won't hold a constant pressure and increases 10 psi. AIH Support does not back the regulator. Told me to try a welding supply to get it fixed. I would not recommend this product.

Good Quality
Great quality regulator, well constructed. As others have noted, it is heavy on the 5LB CO2 tank. I did not order the gauge guard, but would recommend ordering it - having the protection would be wise.

Nice
Sturdy and well constructed. Recommend larger than 5lb aluminum tank as this regulator is heavy. The 5# aluminum tank could tip on the regulator easily if touched.

Great quality! Get the gauge guard.
This thing is quite heavy so make sure you get the gauge guard kit so the gauges don't get bumped AND secure your CO2 tank because the weight of this will tip it over. It's easy to hook up and the knobs and valves work smoothly. I absolutely recommend this to give you the flexibility of force carbonating or just serving different styles at different pressures. Pro tip: the gauge closest to the CO2 tank is the one that needs to be the higher psi otherwise it won't work right.

Works Like A Champ
Works very smoothly. Valves & gauges hold pressure when tank valve is switched off for days. Ball valves are very convenient and work like a champ. Gauges are very readable. Excellent quality.

Awesome product - Awesome service
I'm a 1 year old homebrewer and built a keezer to get away from the hassel of bottling. I did a lot of research on regulators and opted to pay a few bucks more for the Taprite. Has worked perfect for 1 month now dispensing 2 5-gal Corny and a 1/2 barrel. Easy to adjust pressure to force carbonate homebrew. Very solid construction. The guys at AIH were awesome to work with too. They switched out the 1/4 turn shut offs to match my keezer setup at no additional cost. I really appreciated that!! Zero complaints and I would highly recommend this regulator and AIH. Thanks!

Q:
My regulator reading sticks at 0 PSI until I jack up the dial, and it jumps to around 20 PSI. Is this something that can be cleaned or is there a repair kit for this model? Thanks!
Asked by:
Mark
- 7/14/2020
A:
this may be an issue with the gauge. Replacing the gauges is easy and would be the first thing to rule out as the regulator body is likely functioning OK, but just needs a new read out. Item ID C384-624 would be the correct replacement

for this to work, you would need a 2nd hole or to house the tank and regulator inside the kegerator on that style of system s

Would you recommend this regulator. I want to set CO2 for beer and the other one to set CO2 for root beer real bear needs to be around 50 psi correct
Asked by:
John Brousseau

This would be a good option as the two gauges can be set for separate outlet pressures up to 60 PSis which would work for Soda as well as beer

the would be enough room to use a splitter on one of the regulator bodys to use for 3 service shut offs if needed

Q:
I just replaced my co2 tank and now when I unscrew it (open it) the pressurized co2 starts coming out of the screw hole on the underside of the regulator (the opposite side of the red dial). Any idea why that is happening?
Asked by:
Rebecca
- 7/19/2018
A:
Thanks for the question! This normalyl only will happen if the adjustmetn screw or dial on the frotn of the regulator is increased to a veru high PSI or a pressure that exceeds the rated pressure on the inlet gauge. Dialing down the pressure ont he regulator before connecting the tank and then increasing the pressure to the needed PSI should resolve the issue

Q:
Beyond the price and range of the pressure gage, what is the difference between the Taprite Dual Body Regulator and Taprite Double Body T-handle Regulator?
Asked by:
Todd
- 6/10/2018
A:
The adjustment knob on this requlator is a locking turn knob where the T-handle version does not lock into place, other than that cost and the gauge tolerance would be the only big differences in the two

If you wanted to more accurately measure lower pressures, could you swap out the 0 to 60 gauges with 0 to 30? Thanks!
Asked by:
Nathan
- 3/27/2018
A:
yes, this can be done by the end user by purchasing the 0-30 gauges and exchanging them. Item C384-6153 is a similar product that ships with the 0-30psi gauges installed

Q:
Could this work with a liquid nitrogen cylinder if I swapped out the gas hook up?
Asked by:
tom
- 3/22/2018
A:
this can be done, or you can use the nitrogen to co2 regulator adapter under part number 40-3647 that would not require any modification to the regulator or tank. The adapter bridges the gap between a co2 regulator and nitrogen tank

Hi. Can I buy a 1/4" barb to fit the regulator, with the same threaded end as the 3/8" barb?
Asked by:
William Boulton
- 2/16/2017
A:
The 1/4" barb by 1/4" NPT shut off can be found using item #73-3722. This would be have to be ordered in addition to the regulator, as we use 3/8" barbs standard on the regulators as Taprite ships them

Q:
Does each pressure regulator go to 60psi or is it 30 30, meaning with the dual regulator I can put 120 psi total?
Asked by:
Eric
- 3/24/2016
A:
Each gauge goes to 60, the pressure is not split between the two, so no you will not get to 120 psi.

Q:
I store my tank inside the fridge, Can I adjust the regulators for the difference in temperature? If not, what is the formula to figure out the true temperature inside the kegs. Thanks,
Asked by:
Fernando Araiza
- 2/24/2016
A:
If you store your tank inside the fridge, there is a slight adjustment to run higher pressure than if you keep your tank outside the fridge. The difference is very minute and difficult to tell the difference. Recommend either keeping it inside or out, not to keep switching the tank from cold to warm.

Q:
i am looking for a secondary regulator like the inside one on this model. I already have a dual body regulator with a high and low gauge, and would like to add another low regulator with its own gas line just like the one listed here. do you sell just the middle gauge set up?
Asked by:
Luca
- 3/18/2014
A:
No we do not sell single regulators that would fit in line with that double body regulator. However, you could buy a secondary regulator to split off your low pressure regulator or you could use a manifold that would split off one line into 2,3, or 4 separate lines running at the same pressure.
