Q: The poppet seems to be too long for my keg posts. It forces the top of the poppet to push out above the rest of the post when it is screwed on to the post. Any advice?
A: the spring can be compressed a bit in a vice out with caution on a decent pair of plyers if needed. Otherwise, checking to make sure the poppet end piece is in the direction that would have the gasket facing upward with the shorter part of that piece sticking through the top of the post could be the culprit of the poppet end being "upside down" to check as well
Q: Where are the retaining legs for these?
. I would rather not reuse the old ones I removed
A: These rely on just the spring resting on the dip tube as opposed to the locking tabs in the post to be held in place. This allows them to be used on any keg design weather ball lock or pin lock without issue
Q: Are these made of stainless steel?
A: These are stainless steel. Cheers!
Q: Will these fit the Old Ale Kegs, item number 310-4900?
Q: you mention replacing the oring on the poppet. Do you sell the replacement orings?
A: We currently only carry the poppets themselves.
Q: Is this just one poppet or a set of two?
A: This item is for one poppet.
Q: What is the specs for the replaceable o-ring?
A: The o'ring has a size of 1/8" ID and 1/4" OD and is a #6 o'ring.
