Vanilla Imperial Stout

The best beer I ever made. Added chocolate mint leaves from our garden to secondary along with vanilla beans. 3 liquorice drops in boil. Making 2nd batch
for next Christmas right now. I will make this every year.

Great Brew

This is my 3rd time brewing this kit. Probably my fav for fall/winter drinking. If you have time in the secondary, throw in some oak cubes and some coffee beans. You need about 3 months in the secondary to get the oak barrel flavor. Again, great taste and very nice ABV.

Not overpowering Vanilla

Beer was perfectly balanced vanilla flavor with the mighty goodness of an imperial stout. Can't wait to make it again. I did bottle a few with honey for carbonation and that did add a subtle twist to it.

Best Beer I've made yet!

This was my third brew and it turned out AWESOME! Again, a very easy recipe to follow without much hassle. Turned out a beer with about 9% ABV that had strong malt flavor with heavier chocolate undertones but the sweetness was cut by the higher alcohol content. Everyone loved this beer and I look forward to making it again next Christmas and barreling it this time!
